Putting the Gold Coast On The Map

GoldCoastChat.com.au has released an update to their site that now includes an interactive map of the Gold Coast Queensland Australia. The interactive map includes street addresses and satellite imagery to get a real picture of the Gold Coast.

(PRWEB) -- The GoldCoastChat.com.au site has another feature to offer locals, tourists and visitors of the Gold Coast Australia, which is a long awaited interactive map of the region. This adds and complements the websites current range of resources, related to the popular tourist destination which is also one of Australia's fastest growing cities.

The map includes accommodation and attraction locations with more information offered by clicking that particular point to reveal an information window. The map also comes with the ability to zoom in and out on locations and overlay satellite imagery.

Rod L’Huillier, director of Gold Coast Chat, said ‘The Gold Coast is a very unique and diverse region and for some visitors to the area it can be difficult to get the full picture, we hope that via an interactive map like this they can better choose the location of their accommodation in relation to what the region offers and their particular needs’.

The map is a combination of development by the Gold Coast Chat Team and use of the Google Maps service. The Team has plans to add more content to the map and is looking for community suggestion via their online forums. Currently displayed on the map are selected accommodation houses, wineries and theme parks. 'There is certainly a lot more to the Coast than what we have added so far and we will be inviting people to make suggestions via our online forums, so that we can reveal the most popular points of interest' added Rod.
